Association (NCA)
Purpose
-
To promote and
provide a forum for
interaction between
students interested
in the communication
discipline.

To promote
interaction between
faculty and students
interested in the
communication
discipline.

To promote
interaction between
professionals and
students interested
in the communication
discipline.

To provide avenues
of exposing students
to academic
awareness and
knowledge not
normally available
through regular
academic offerings.

To promote and
provide forums for
social interaction
between members.

To enhance the
understanding of
career and
scholarship
opportunities for
those interested in
the communication
discipline.
Membership
Requirements:
-
Associate: 30+
hours and 3.4 GPA
-
National: 60+ hours
and 3.7 GPA
-
To have 6 completed
semester hours in
communication study.
-
To be in the upper
35% of their
graduating class.
-
To display
commitment to the
field of
communication.
-
To pay the required
membership fee.
