National Communication Association (NCA)
 


Purpose

  • To promote and provide a forum for interaction between students interested in the communication discipline.

  • To promote interaction between faculty and students interested in the communication discipline.

  • To promote interaction between professionals and students interested in the communication discipline.

  • To provide avenues of exposing students to academic awareness and knowledge not normally available through regular academic offerings.

  • To promote and provide forums for social interaction between members.

  • To enhance the understanding of career and scholarship opportunities for those interested in the communication discipline.

Membership Requirements:

  •  Associate: 30+ hours and 3.4 GPA

  • National: 60+ hours and 3.7 GPA

  • To have 6 completed semester hours in communication study.

  • To be in the upper 35% of their graduating class.

  • To display commitment to the field of communication.

  • To pay the required membership fee.
