Bateman P.R.
Team, National Finalists
Lee University’s team
from the Public
Relations Student
Society of America (PRSSA)
that is competing in the
annual Bateman
Competition was recently
announced to be among
the six finalists chosen
to continue in the
competition. The
finalists were chosen
from the 62 teams
competing from various
schools throughout the
nation to create the
best public relations
campaign for this year’s
client, Habitat for
Humanity. Spanning
across the entire spring
semester, the public
relations campaign was
conducted by
communication students
Krystle Pennington,
Ashley Timmer, Sarah
Frazier, and Lindsey
Kyles. Having been
chosen as finalists, the
team will now present
their plan before a
panel of judges in June.

into the CCCU Los
Angeles Film Study
Program for Fall 2004.

Alumni:
Stephanie Taylor
(2004 Telecommunications
major) is working as a
freelance production
assistant at CMT in
Nashville in their promo
department. She
says, "I feel so blessed
to be actually working
in my field and gaining
great experience!"
Mandi Shifflett
(2001 Telecommunications
major) is working at the
DC Bureau of the FOX
News Channel. She
says, "they have been
keeping me busy since I
started there with all
of the breaking news'
and big events
(election/inauguration)
that have gone on this
past year."
